Stating the obvious but South American clubs have a lower salary and transfer fee ceiling so they are happy to take players that flop in European football.

I was, until I read he’s likely staying at River until the summer. Would’ve been nice to bring in a goalscorer in Jan and ease him in slowly over the remainder of the season ready for August.
