Stating the obvious but South American clubs have a lower salary and transfer fee ceiling so they are happy to take players that flop in European football.

Agreed i dont think this will affect the chase for a marquee 9 at all. Will prob see Delap out on loan next season though (If Alvarez is integrated into the squad)
