I've never heard of this player before in my life, but he looks very good in Fifa22 and only 21! And I checked and he is worth 20m on Transfermarkt. Oh, and he's Argentinian, which always worked for us and he's about 170cm and 70kg so he's like Agüero or Tevez. He could come in winter rather than summer.

We'll see. I do not believe we'll get him, but what do I know. These 2 seem more our way of operating, smart business as well imo. Haaland is still obviously a dream, just not getting any confidence given recent reports and what he might cost/wages/agent drama all that.

How likely is it he's going to be able to outperform Jesus, Sterling, Mahrez, Grealish, Foden and even Palmer to get in the side?

Throw in the £17m fee and it's quite likely he is getting loaned out. Touting him as a Haaland replacement seems fanciful.

you don't buy the best player in south america, aged 21, for 20m, when all of europe are chasing after him, to loan him out to girona. he'll probably stay at river (might be part of the negotiations for getting him for slightly less than his release clause) until the summer and then become a first team player.

I think he's good enough to be part of the city squad currently, FWIW.

Probably people think Jesus should have a far better strike rate in our team, than he does. Maybe Felix in our team will score at a much better rate? Who knows. One thing for sure is that Gabby has not progressed as we thought he would.
