Next Manager after Pep

It’s sounding promising.

Perhaps he’s going to stay until he’s broken all the Hard Shoulder Shitter’s PL records.
Forget that Norwegian flat track bully (we're not doing too badly without him at the moment). Pep would be the most important signing we could make in the next 18 months. Get it done Txiki, pay him what he wants.

It is not Strange, i think it's deliberate attempt to make our club into third brand of Johan Cruyff football. What Pep done to City is the same thing that happened to Barca when Cryuff is become their manager back then.

Many current rival fans or football fans on general outside City will never accept the notion that City have the same DNA the likes of Ajax and Barca have. It will takes generations, more than 40 years to finally accept that we are the third brand of that football DNA. The real DNA, not fake ass DNA that the rags propoganda machine that they spouting with.
THE story of that DNA is fascinating. I would call it Rinus Mikels football, but it goes back even further. A great legacy to inherit. Bayern never assimilated it, have Barca lost it? Embrace it, City.

Bayern is already established European Powerhouse, they are just incorporate some of it not fully assimilating like us because we are a blank canvas. A perfect place for someone competent with enough funding to completely rebuild it to become one of european powerhouse by borrowing it and along the way perfecting that DNA Formula.

I honestly don't think it will come down to the money - don't get me wrong I'm not suggesting Pep will continue on minimum wage - it'll be about him still seeing things to achieve, and if he feels burnt out.
The sounds from the recent BBC report are encouraging though.

He will keep on signing extensions whilst there are dickheads out there who doubt him.
As there’s a never ending stream of dickheads who still continue to doubt him or try and belittle his achievements we will carry on benefitting from his desire to prove them wrong.
I’ll start to worry about him going when the praise starts...
I honestly think there’s something to this. The more the red top media give him no credit the more he wants to ram it down their throats! The thick fuckers can’t see it though!

Pep will want a fifth title and champs league for sure before walking off into the sunset, like a cool cowboy who has just spun his revolvers around before blowing them and slotting them back into their holders

Scary thing is when he goes who is even remotely talented enough to replace him? There’s not a lot of up an coming managers bringing new ideas knocking about, probably the reason why the rags have been treading water since Mourinho left and why they haven’t got a clue who they will be appointing next.

This period of football that we are witnessing at the moment, enjoy it and never take it for granted. He’s managed to build a 100 point and quadruple winning machine, then rebuild to what we have now with no striker.

I think I meant strange in the sense that if you grew up watching City when I did it's strange to get your head round. But it's definitely the grand plan.

I kind see your point, yeah it's a grand plan in the making for years when we first acquired Txixi as our DoF. He also have big part of building our team and club from the ground up and should be credited like Pep done to this City team.

And me for these reasons, if he's still available. I have a sneaking suspicion that City will, if they want him, be telling him it could be all his if he sits tight. (and who in their right mind would want that United shit show job).

Strange that City are now the third club in that Ajax-Barca connection, but a manager who trained under Pep, plays the system and philosophy, and has an outstanding record of bringing youth is almost too good to be true.
Interestingly Ten Hag's contact at Ajax expires on excaly the same day as Pep's contact expires with us

I'm fairly confident Pep will extend again. An extra 3 years would give the standard round 10 that most of our greats have managed.

Enjoy the theatre.

The press, Rags, Dippers will be praying if we win the CL this season Pep fucks off.

Double summer whammy of a big signing and Pep staying will keep piss simmering nicely.

If he wins the Champions League, I don't think he'll necessarily consider it job done and call it a day. There would still be plenty of targets/records to keep him motivated:
  • Creating a team including: Foden, Palmer, McAtee, Lavia, Delap etc.
  • Treble (Premier League, FA Cup & Champions League)
  • Quadruple (including the Champions League)
  • Back to back Champions League wins
  • Three Premier League titles in a row (current record)
  • Unbeaten season

I’d like 4 PL titles in a row, not sure when that was last done? Has it ever been done?
