Everton tickets on sale Wednesday 26th January

That supporters club was taking multiple coaches to away games when we were shit and couldn't sell out.
In recent years most branches have had their away allocation substantially reduced, I would like to see the figures for that branch to see if a reduction in their allocation has been of similar proportions.

Probably coincides with Joes , Tunnel Club and whatever other meal deal the club have invented in the last 10 years

Anyone else still getting restricted sale message despite having enough points from 9am?

Surely these issues can be solved with a level of transparency by the club. So for instance they can state the following:

We have 3,000 tickets available and they will be allocated as follows:

18 - 25 - 5% = 150, Season Card Holders 75% = 2,250 etc.

Not sure why corporates get first dibs on away games as we are just creating a class system i.e. if you can afford £10k tunnel club you get first choice on any away game but of you can't join the back of the queue. In fact no sponsors should be given away tickets either, give them additional home tickets if they want them. Away tickets where there are limited numbers i.e. 3k as opposed to 50k should be for primarily season card holders first. And given that supporters club members are season card holders in the main why are they given a separate allocation. The days of them trying to bolster our away numbers are long gone and whilst I accept the argument that they need to organise coach travel etc if there members have the required points they will go, if not they won't. Despite the good work of many branches it appears that the system is abused by many, which rankles.

The club have been transparent about the allocation of away tickets. 5% kept by the club for players, staff, etc. 5% to 18-25 (who have to be season card holders), 10% to the OSC, 15% to hospitality & the rest to season card holders/Cityzens members.

And while my view is that Hospitality are a bit over-represented pro-rata, many of the people in Hospitality areas are genuine fans who have the money to pay a bit extra, or own companies that buy hospitality facilities. I don't see why people like that should be denied the chance of away tickets if they want, and are prepared, to make the effort to go to places like Norwich and Southampton.

There's a notion, held by some, that you can only be a "real fan", who should be entitled to attend away games ahead of any other group, if you're a season card holder. That's simply not correct.

So that’s just over 1000 tickets taken up before they go on sale to season card holders?
So Everton approx 1800 should have gone on sale ?
How does that explain only 1000 or so showing yesterday first thing ?
I know there’s the restricted view to add but there’s not 800 official shite seats at Goodison
I know your only trying to explain but it doesn’t add up

In the not too distant past it was a doddle to get tickets to any away game through a supporters club, the year we won the FA Cup under Mancini could get them for any London away. From my hazey memory around 4 used to apply and we’d regularly get them all, now it’s usually north of 20 and it’s 1 or 2 who get them.

Demand is just sky high at the minute, my mates has a company with 8 corporate tickets, they applied for 6 for Everton and got 2.

Genuinely think the only way it will ever get easier is if they get a digital ticketing system where people can’t pass on tickets.

If this goes to form, there won’t be a thread demanding tickets for Crystal Palace away on a Monday night.

FWIW, I noticed that a lot of Southampton away tickets be me available in the Facebook pages in tue last few days before the match. This is the first time I’ve seen so many last minute sales since points for away games ended.

I’m not sure who is buying away tickets without intending to go. Have we got a new phenomenon called the “no points whores”.

Im my experience, the tickets allocated to Supporters Club members always get used. That’s not so difficult as our Branch of 150 members get 2 tickets for most away games. That’s not a complaint and it’s a bonus.

Every single person who gets a ticket, whether that's via Hospitality, 18-25 or even the OSC, may be a season card holder. Hospitality customers are also season card holders as they make a seasonal commitment to buy tickets and attend games.

Got to say, I don't like the "Why are all the people moaning about not getting a derby ticket not rushing to be at Palace on a Monday night" argument being used against our fans. It's at least a day off for those going and possibly 2. Many will make that commitment, which is incredible. Our anger should be directed at the TV companies for this shitshow of timing, not the fans.
