The truth is that most go there thinking that they are going to make their career when, in reality, it’s killed most of them. It then leaves them on big money which they cannot give up as the clubs interested won‘t pay it.

You cannot blame a player for taking a wage, every single person would do the same. The fact that is fucks up the Rags in some way makes me smile.
I remember when they signed him, all over Talkshite and tbh I'd never heard of him and the fee mentioned was astronomical

I think from a United perspective it makes sense:

- Newcastle are desperate and will obviously make more if they stay up.
- It's in United's best interest for Newcastle to be relegated.
If he goes there and they stay up with some of it being down to him or his goals then the £12m will look like a fucking steal. It's peanuts.

Doesn't make me smile, it makes me scream and howl with demented laughter: tears flowing down my cheeks, stomach aching, and people tut-tutting and saying: "Oh, it's not THAT funny."
But I beg to differ, it IS that funny. A football club are being taken to the cleaners by a bunch of (mostly) foreign mercenaries who couldn't give two fucks whether the team paying their extortionate wage demands wins or not, as long as millions and millions of pounds are being deposited into their respective bank accounts. And there is sweet fuck-all the club can do about it because it was their own sheer stupidity that compelled them to offer such ridiculous contracts to begin with.
And it's not just A club...it's the rags, if you please. The very club who have lorded it up over everyone else (us in particular) for so many years that it was almost acceptable for them to sneer and belittle us, patronise and deride us simultaneously, to look down their noses at us like Prince Andrew looked down at his foot servants and underlings who performed menial duties for his former Royal Highness...when he was a member of the Family.

The demise of the rags must, by necessity, be a long and drawn-out affair. It should last for years. Every single football fan on planet earth must be given sufficient time to raise a glass and drink a toast to the 'death from a thousand cuts' those bastards have been due for many a long year.
Sooooooooo................not that keen on 'em then? ;-)

Love to see the narrative if we had signed someone for 37 million (about what we paid for Aguero) and Then sent them on loan to fucking Rangers
Beeky, just another world beater ruined by the rags. They are past masters at it.

The rag twats even infect the women's game...

'Caldwell, 33, has signed a deal until the end of the season having left American side North Carolina Courage.

The lifelong United fan, said joining the club, currently third in the WSL, is "one of the most special moments in my life so far".

"It's a dream to sign for the club and it's a big moment for me and my family," she added.'

Of course, they are always fans of the club.

Fuck off you cunts.

Previously one of the crazy ragesses stated it had been a lifelong dream to sign for the biggest club in the world tm. Silly tart, they have only had a womens team about 2-3 seasons.

Newcastle are gonna have problems with signing players from the prem IMO. Will be like this every time
Which is why they shouldn't see relegation as such a bad thing; they then get to build a proper team, with a good fighting team spirit made up of both young championship level prospects and older lower premier league level stalwarts.

Get promoted, a la Keegan with us, by playing whatever brand of attractive attacking football they chose to go with which will boost everybody's confidence (much more so than another season of lower level prem scrapping will do for them) and then swap a few of the older heads for slightly bigger "stars".

That way, the bigger stars will be attracted by the buzz around them and be a little more tempted to join the party.

All just my opinion of course.

If she's always been such a BIG fan of the club, where was she 5 years ago, when she was in her prime and the club was just getting started?
