Shouldn't be bothered about that because given their model it also means they're likely selling Salah or Mané. And there's no guarantees as to how this player would be, while losing one of their most reliable players. They're doing this to save face in the whole negotiation bit, classic FSG, PR spin. We don't have to panic, just get the signings in for summer is all.
