There are no travelling away fans in American games so they can show Chicago v Tampa in whatever sports on any day / time of the day they want.

No issue with the derby, it's much better than an early kick off, the Palace game is an absolute disgrace, they've completely ruined what is usually a fantastic away day and made it impossible for many. City really should be putting out a statement to express their disappointment at the lack of consideration for fans, it's unlikely the mke a difference but at least highlight it and get people talking about it, every away match going fan can relate and will be sympathetic.

Was speaking to a mate about this scenario the other week. I honestly think there should be some rule implemented for these night games. Something along the lines of not permitted if travelling distance is more than 100 miles or so.

Even more likely is either us or Brighton gets to the QF. Only needs one to get there and the league game gets rearranged.

We're currently in the middle of a run of five or six league games where we play before them so we can't really complain if they have their turn at playing first.

So much for all the shite that was spouted during the lock downs about football not being the same without fans. They don't give a shit about match going fans unless it suits them. It's about time there was some consideration made that suits both the match-goers and the armchair watchers.
 
Knowing it will go on general sale, I've told the other half that we'll go down to London on the Sunday and come back Tuesday for a break and to see the capital on the Monday. At what point should I tell her we're going to the game? I'm thinking when we get off the train at Norwood Junction.

Tell her as soon as cos she'll get well excited when you say " I am taking you to The Palace" Also you can't be accused of telling lies can you. Just a bit misleading maybe...
 
I think Brighton at home highly likely to be off as we will get pass petersbrough and make it to the next round
 
Does anyone know how many fa cup quarter final games are on TV if we get past Peterborough?

I really need us to not to be playing Saturday at 3pm
