He defended City fans when Palaces newbie "ultras" put that shit banner up in 2014.

My memory of 81 was seeing Gerry Gow walking back to the station after the game with it kicking off everywhere around him, no fucks given.
My memory is coming home up the A1 and the radio station BBC2 interrupted the sport with a news alert… The Yorkshire Ripper had been caught!

Me n’all!

FA Cup should always be on a weekend.
I always think if you reach round 5 you can realistically start dreaming of Wembley for the first time . Historically one of the great days of the season spoiled by being pushed back to a midweek shit. Back in the eighties loved beating Plymouth to reach the quarter final as a second division club. Alas faced the dippers and a bent ref in the next round.

Yeah it was proper fighting..a copper lost his helmet and it was kicked up the road.. luckily his head wasn't in it.
It kicked off before the game as we were escorted from the station..then in the ground in the corner with fans trying to get into each others sections..then afterwards..yeah glad it's not like that nowadays as I'm too bloody old lol.
A good rehearsal for world war three at Goodison in the quarters

The only thing that puts me off going to this is it's a dry ground with an away concourse the size of a bus stop.

Liverpool should be nowhere near being on tv but you know they will be
Only 3 time slots, not 6-8 like there is for weekend rounds (unless they pull off some 6pm ko’s but that won’t happen), so although I’d assumed 6 of the 8 games would be televised, I think it could actually be only 4 at best (1 Tues, 2 Wed and 1 Thurs), but let’s see …

Yeah I remember that one too ...they opened the gates at full time let a few of us out then locked them again..fucking mayhem..managed to sit on a wall near the ground with some scousers who thought I was a scouser lol. I didn't let on
When they let the rest of the blues out I walked to the escort and coppers wasn't going to let me get in it.. luckily I got in or I would have been introduced to Stanley as they quaintly put it.
The replay was tasty..they got fucked up big time ..Claremont road was a battleground and after the game Whitworth park was an ambush zone..
It was also tasty against the red dippers in the league cup semis too same year.

Not sure about that but it could go to very low points Peterborough isn't the best place to get to, let alone for a midweek game.
New ground for many not myself but if they give what they do in the championship to away teams approx 3.600 then I say zero points.
