That's just...really bad (or good!) from a "OMG it's a dictatorship there!" point of view... and further proof that they are in the same post-Busby decline.

Until they move on (and force him to) from the ferguson era, they'll be stuck trying to relive the past. Shame

Been catching up on this thread so only just seen this. History repeating itself, after the first time but as Horlock was super said, self awareness is completely absent both at the Swamp and amongst the hordes that follow them.

With shrek admitting he wanted to injure somebody that's now two players under the pisscan openly admitting to doing the one thing all players say they would never do. Scum.
Was shrek's admission about injuring someone made a bit later in his interview after he had opened with "I wanted the ref to know who is in charge ................ me" ; followed by "I will get someone a red card" ?

We knew if Chelsea won then they had won the league that day," said 36-year-old Rooney.

"Until my last game for Derby, I always wore the old plastic studs with the metal tip.

"For that game I changed them to big, long metal ones - the maximum length you could have because I wanted to try and hurt someone, try and injure someone.

"I knew they were going to win that game. You could feel they were a better team at the time so I changed my studs.

"The studs were legal but thinking if there's a challenge there I knew I'd want to go in for it properly, basically. I did actually.

"John Terry left the stadium on crutches. I left a hole in his foot and then I signed my shirt to him after the game... and a few weeks later I sent it to him and asked for my stud back.

"If you look back when they were celebrating, JT's got his crutches from that tackle."

That rancid excuse of a **** bucket of a club in a nutshell.

Wow, law suit pending for that admission.
Well it would be if it was in the USA.
