Sporting CP (A) - Post-Match Thread

I see you’re being taken in by the media. Whenever we win a game by a big score it’s ALWAYS because the opposition were shit.

We dish out more hiding than anyone and it’s not because we are super lucky and play teams on their worst day by chance. It’s because we’re a fucking amazing side. Maybe the best England has ever seen.

Sporting finished above Dortmund in the group and beat them 3-1 at their place so they’re not exactly minnows. It’s complete bullshit to say any decent team would hammer them. Just look at our record of putting 4 or 5 past teams. It’s miles beyond what other teams can offer.

Nope I said the same on here last night right after the game.

Sporting were bobbins. Their league is literally miles behind ours. They literally had absolutely no idea how to close the spaces and made no attempt to play the usual low block we see every **** do against us every week.

So they beat Dortmund? Palace beat us does that mean they’re a top side?

Christ.

God knows why we ever signed Dias, Cancelo, Ederson and Bernardo considering they ever played in a shit league and god knows how we couldn’t win away in Porto last season considering they’re so bad.

We won that game so convincingly because we’re one of the greatest English sides of all time. Get over it.

Until I watch it again it’s hard to say wherever we were great or they were shit. The fucking netting in front of the away fans made my eyes go blurry after about 20 mins!! Haha!
My best guess is it’s between the two, we wasn’t flawless, just scored our chances and they weren’t awful, just suffered from our excellent finishing on the night.

Yeah just touched down.

Plane will be on bricks in half n hour if it isn't airborne soon.
Was on a plane once that landed in windy conditions in Australia. My god I thought we were gone at one point. Plane almost lost control about 300 metres from the ground and tipped to one side. I could literally see the ground from the side window! People were screaming and crying when they got out. I have to say it wasn’t a pleasant experience and put me off flying for a while although had to do the 24 hr journey back 3 weeks later!

First time I'd got wifi in the sky on an Aussie flight. Sydney to Brisbane early flight (so late back in Manchester) ... 36000 ft as a certain someone said "Don't shoot Vinnie / don't shoot". I jumped out of my seat much to the bemusement of the early morning commuters and travellers.
I woke half the plane up when Bernies thunderbastard went in.

Oh and I joined the half mile club......
I went in the bogs and had a wank.

Thought they were louder than us the whole second half tbh it seemed that way In level 1 at least
Yes they were - but after the first 10 mins of the first half - all you could hear was City - I think the beer and walking those hills got to most Blues by 50mins - not the greatest second half atmosphere - but in fairness, up in B7 you could see fuck all. As for the lock in at the end and the utterly stupid Police kettle to the Metro station - the less said the better...

The plane bringing the team home only landed at Liverpool airport a couple of hours ago having to be diverted due to high winds. Bet that was a fun flight home.

The plane carrying the team back from Lisbon is currently circling over Accrington as it attempted to land half an hour ago but had to abort.

Just one for the plane geeks.

Over and out.
For the real geeks that would be the ROSUN stack.
