Then I suggest you read it again, because you’ve clearly misunderstood. Ukraine is now at war. The path it took certainly didn’t lead it to peace. This doesn’t imply that Ukraine did anything morally wrong. As I said previously, multiple times, Ukraine has every right to request to join whatever alliance it wants.

Well the boundries are set, if he sets foot beyond ukraine (and moldovo I expect next) into countries alligned with NATO or EU memebers we will kick off.

Regarding any significant escalation (other countries, nuclear weapons), then we're really in the hands of the senior Russian officials to remove Putin internally. I doubt they all are unquestioning followers.
