There is no bad blood based upon Ukraine's actions in WW2. Ukraine is being targeted because it's a democracy wishing to side more with Western European Values rather than Russian Imperial ones and Putin cannot stand it. You're talking complete shite.Hang on a minute I didn’t say that is the reason why he invaded I said there is a lot of bad blood which there is so if your gonna try to be funny I suggest you get your facts right before you jump in .
Agreed, I noticed them and thought WTF???Disgraceful from South Africa.
( There are some people saying we should impose no fly zones, potentially take on Russia and if it leads to nuclear war so be it as "Putin & his war machine must be stopped". I think we should be involved in humanitarian support & imposing sanctions but not sure we should be getting in direct conflict yet. A line does need to be drawn and if he tries to go over it we must follow though but it's not as clear cut & simple as some seem to think. (I'm not referring to you when I say that).
Credit where credit is due to Abramovich for doing that. People could argue he had no real choice in doing so given the current situation, but neither was he forced to do so, nor donate proceeds of the sale to a Ukrainian fund.Abramovitch selling Chelsea with net proceeds to go to some Ukrainian fund.

That'll show them.
It’s a small gesture but if he really is a friend of Putin then at least it’s a chink of light in a dark situation.Credit where credit is due to Abramovich for doing that. Statement from Roman Abramovich
I would like to address the speculation in media over the past few days in relation to my ownership of Chelsea FC. As I have stated before, I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. In the current situation, I have therefore taken the decision to sell the Club, as I...www.chelseafc.com

This has been the gist of a lot of my posts on this thread, with me doing what the writer of that article is suggesting we all do with anyone who has posted Russian rooted opinions. You're certainly touched.
Piece of advice, if you're going in all guns blazing do a bit of research. Sometimes, even a Terry fuckwitt like you stumbles on a tiny kernel of truth and then incoherently thrashes about as you don't have a scooby how you ended up there.
Let me help you....
We must confront Russian propaganda – even when it comes from those we respect

‘Stop the War’s Andrew Murray has claimed it’s a myth that Ukraine wants peace.’

People throwing around the 'no fly zones' and the like are being idiotic and reckless. Under no circumstance should we even entertain that unless Putin steps outside of Ukraine.
Our focus should be on helping the Ukranians as best as we can and provide refugees support. I don't particularly fancy a bomb being dropped on Bristol because some dickhead thinks we need to run into Russia all guns blazing.
No. It was a good article. And you didn't read it either.

It's probably the Russian foothold in Africa.Wtf do the Russians have on Eritrea ?
China have never shown any desire to expand geographically, in fact am I right in remembering its in their constitution that they never will? Not sure. Anyway, they are not interested in doing so, they have enough territory of their own.China certainly are. Friend of mine is very senior in the military and China are the worry long term rather than Russia, although to be fair, that was before this kicked off.
I suspect it's because China is the biggest overseas investor in S.A. - They have pretty much been buying up most of the continent in the last couple of decades trying to monopolise the vast metal reserves and various other food commodities.Agreed, I noticed them and thought WTF???
You'd have been drafted. As a function of going to Uni in the USA, I had to sign up for Selective Service…more commonly known as The Draft!
I’m not sure what would have happened had there been a nasty conflict and they had started that Lottery?!
