Russian invasion of Ukraine

China and India are backing Russia here, or not open to criticising them - that's nearly half the worlds population.

'Your opinion is that Russia should turn to crypto (despite being unaware they caused the major price drop through efforts to ban it in December of last year)'

I've been involved in crypto for years and crypto is proving why it's a valuable resource right now.

Go have a glass of water and calm down pal.
China aren’t backing them at all. China, for China, went absolutely as far as they could go to criticise them.

Oh yeah crypto innit? Sorry fam I didn’t know you waz into investments and stuff.

All these absolutely-not-bots sharing support for Putin and Russia on Twatter.

Just like when Putin made the Brexit and Trump voters his useful idiots.

You said that Putin is "winning the proxy war." That doesn't suggest a split of opinion, it suggests that one opinion is winning out.
Insofar as "split" means that despotic countries or those historically supportive of Russia (e.g., Indian), back Russian's invasion - well, then, by-golly, golly, indeed opinion is split! Who knows! Next thing we'll hear is that Cuba and Argentina back Russia's just cause.

Him going off on the rant in the first place, the look on the American guys face as it grows and grows, the line “the man has gone ballistic”…think I’ve rewatched it about 10 times and laughing even more every time!
The presenter isn't wrong. Just took it out on the wrong man.

Mariupol mayor Vadym Boichenko has said that the Russians are trying to "break" them, as Vladimir Putin's forces bombard the city.

Sky's middle east producer Zein Ja'Far, who is in Dnipro, reports on the latest from the city.

Mr Boichenko said: "These b******* couldn't find a way to break us, so now they are trying to prevent us from repairing electricity, water and warmth supply.

"They also damaged the railway connection. They destroyed the bridges, they destroyed the trains so that we could not evacuate our women, children and elderly people.

"They prevent us from getting a provision supply. They are trying to create a blockade here, just like in Leningrad.

"For seven days they have been deliberately destroying critical infrastructure of the city. We don’t have electricity, water and warmth – again! Putin’s military hordes are shelling the city and don't allow to evacuate injured, women and children.

"We are doing our best to repair the critical infrastructure as fast as possible. We are working with international institutions to create a "green corridor" for a humanitarian mission.

"We are working to provide ceasefire to repair electricity supply.

"Mariupol is still being shelled, the women, kids and elderly people are suffering. We are being exterminated as a nation.
