It’s absolutely absurd. The thought of doing anything like that to our neighbours who were part of our country, never mind any human beings, knocks me sick. I’ve never protested other than 2003 but if Westminster ever ordered anything like that unprovoked against people in the British Isles, I’d being trying to Guy Fawkes the cunts.

I know people will mention Iraq and I protested at that… but it was at least a mass murdering despot we were trying to rid the world of.

And without wanting to get into an Iraq war argument, I think Blair genuinely did believe Sadam had a stockpile of chemical weapons but not found yet.

I know it was mentioned earlier but only just seen the confirmation.

They've got their own Russian separatist problem, so not surprised to see them make this move as they would be the next target you would assume.

Unfortunately Europe has been a basket case of leaders like this and wars like this. Look at the Serb/Bosnia/Croat conflict. Hideous.

What a rime to do it though, just as there could be a huge Army and Naval fleet on their doorstep. Are they asking for immediate access?

Russian cats banned from competitions​

An international cat federation has said it's banning all Russian cats from entering its competitions.
In a statement on its website the Fédération Internationale Féline said it was "horrified" by Russia's invasion of Ukraine and had subsequently decided to disallow Russian cats from competing in its competitions, which take place around the world.
As well as this, it said that no cats bred in Russia would be allowed to be registered with its organisation outside of Russia.
The rules will be in place until the end of May, when they will be reviewed.
It added that it would dedicate a part of its budget to support cat breeders in Ukraine who are suffering because of the current situation.

All joking aside, the missus tells me IKEA have donated €40m towards relief for Ukraine.

These companies taking their own stand has to be welcomed.

Blair had too many quick wins in Africa and the Balkans and developed a messiah complex thinking he could police the whole world.

Saddam needed hanging but we fucked it up
