Poland are taking in loads of people from Ukraine, we need to do our bit too. This is poor if true.

Let's see what the next week brings. The govts 'broad brush' immigration policy is for another thread really. I'd be surprised/disappointed if there is not at least a temporary exemption put in place for Ukrainians.

I wonder how easy it is to change the rules on the Visa? I assume it’s more complicated than just saying “we sympathise with you, come on in”?

Also where would they go? Some would have families to stay with but others wouldn’t. Do we have a plan on where we would put those without families already here? I know there are hotels housing Afghans who’ve come over recently, do we have more places like that to take them in?

I know it’s an emotive situation and we’d ideally want to open the door to them coming over, but is that too simplistic a way of thinking about things?

If true I hope there is hell raised by the media, his own MP's in fact everyone.
The brave Ukranian soldiers need to know their loved ones are safe. If we cannot help them now they (tories) really have no soul.
