The Conservative Party

There's more.

It's no wonder Putin felt confident enough to invade Ukraine and assume that repercussions would be minimal after having assets in the White House for four years and in Downing Street for the last three.
If the full details of all this are not suppressed this scandal could make Partygate look like a little local difficulty.

And who is going to run with this?? Sunday Times had the ammunition ages ago and buried it. Anyone think the BBC will? Not me.

As Secretary of State for Defence, Williamson broke the Ministerial Code and by extension the Official Secrets Act, with impunity. The reason, 5G comms network being done by Huewai. Certainly got the mail readers frothing.

A civil servant doing this would have been sacked and probably done gaol time. As Education Secretary, he was equally incompetent, the GCSE/a level exams an utter farce.

Reading the Twitter feed, you have to wonder if he has certain Russian shaped dirt on Johnson. As payoffs go, it's exceptionally blatant.

Johnson has been blatant all along. I was banging on about him being a Russian asset years ago in the Brexit threads.

But as someone else has already pointed out who is going to shine a light on it? The UK media is either complicit or terrified. I had hoped the light might come from the US once Trump was removed but sadly that also looks increasingly unlikely.

I guess our only hope now is that Starmer gets elected and starts digging. Johnson will however do anything to cling to power, much like Trump.

The whole lot of them seem compromised, so not convinced sir starmer will do anything. The present generation are all style over substance. Theresa May seemed to be ahead of the curve on the Russian shenanigans.

Rees mogg not unnatural to remove your £40m fortune from a RUSSIAN bank just before sanctioned.

But hit me with a branch from the stupid tree, why has a British cabinet minister got his money in said RUSSIAN bank? I know he's a rich toff, but could some of the money be traced back to Russian sources? If so what were they paying him for?

Monumentally staggering lack of judgement or corruption at the highest levels of public office?

Either way he's a ****.

It's not Mogg's money, it's money from an investment fund at a company he is a partner in. He doesn't have a decision-making role.

The difficulty with the sale of the shares that is looks dubiously timed but also could be seen as an obvious move in the light of likely sanctions.

The fund did buy the bank shares while it was under EU sanctions however.

Sir Fuckwit has been given a knighthood says a lot about Johnson government and the levels of incompetence. I can only conclude Johnson either doesn't give a fuck about handing out gongs to fuckwits because they mean nothing to him. Or Williamson knows where some of the bodies are buried and this was Johnson's way of paying him off when he sacked him.
Mr Chris Grayling must be jealous.

That decision to give Williamson ( aka Frank Spencer) a knighthood is an absolute scandal. Fucked up every department he went to. He must have something in his locker for him to keep quiet

The one channel that would is now banned and would be defended as propaganda.

If it's a long action I wouldn't be surprised if a European network started drip feeding it should it look like Vlad
Only The Times reporting this so far.

How Trumpian...

Be a Shane if someone with an agenda might send them a donation or 6.

Without giving too much away a few years ago I attended the premises of a fireplace supplier where he was quite senior - in order to progress the situation he was required to put together some info for me - his grasp of simple business practises - his inability to provide accurate information and his generally confused demeanour means that I have watched his political progression with bemused horror - I wouldn't trust him to be able to arrange the hire of deck chairs on Scarborough sea front
