Captalism works on an economic principle of constant growth, it is not in anyway sustainable.

The whole system needs re working and I am not talking about transtitioning to communism.

Capatalism has reaked havok on the planet and caused significant issues within our own societies. There are better alternatives than late stage capatalism and communism...

The country that’s just invaded its peaceful neighbour and started bombing civilian areas, has made it a criminal offence punishable by 15 years in prison to even criticise the invasion or government and has threatened nuclear weapons, is quite clearly the fucking bad guy in all this.

Whatever the West is doing it pales in comparison to what’s going on now.

I hope this is true, it does beg the question taking nukes out the equation NATO would pummel Russia in a conflict, it seems our technology and leadership in the field is superior, no point in spending £40 million on a tank when you can get a shot load of anti tank weapons and wipe them out at a fraction of the cost. There's a bit of a difference in offering an opinion, and sending in troops to Ukraine on the basis of what we think Putin would or would not do.

Committing atrocities is a decision it's not a group directive, the "English" you are talking about was circa 300 years ago, since then we have fought under the "British" banner.

Getting exemption as a CO is a bit different from being conscripted into an army and then refusing an order (even if you think the order is a war crime).
