Second half speaks for itself but first half was very good too. United put on a decent press, whilst they got some very limited success from it early we coped with it very well. Most pleasing to me was how we found different ways of getting at them instead of just trying to make the same one rehearsed pattern happen time and time again. Whilst we didn't go for the throat as I wanted, we didn't totally sit back on our lead either which I always dislike we did attack with intent all game.

Our class and hard work first half paid off second half, that third was the real key, they had a punters chance before that but you could literally see their heads go after that went in and they gave up and allowed us to take the piss at will. I'd be embarrassed if city had done that, back when we were atrocious we never ever let them have an easy time.

we could have gone for the kill which we all want to see but it was a sensible approach second half to put on a footballing keep ball clinic against a dejected and significantly inferior side.

Rat face giving up on the press the second city played 2 balls across the back with no panic arriving at ederson who just sat on it instead of hoofing it as he expected was glorious.

That was just one routine win from the 10 routine wins we needed before today, they're nothing special and the derby is just 3 more points now that they're irrelevant. Liverpool is the only game with extra meaning to it.

It might be appropriate to quote David Silva's Twitter feed from a couple of years back after we had dusted them down at their gaff:

'We killed them'..

Enjoy MOTD tonight, fellow Blues!

Strange game that today! In the first half, I thought it could have gone either way as both teams looked dangerous on the counter. They played very high up the pitch and put a lot of pressure on Rodri and the defence and our passing game just didn't get going like we know it can do. Second half, there was only one team in it and it was just a case of "how many". They were absolutely diabolical and Keane was spot on - no effort, no pride. They didn't have any kind of gameplan except to take their beating. If we'd got the 3rd earlier, I thought we'd go on to even topple the 1-6 scoreline - that's how good we were.

Overall, I'm glad we avoided a 0-1 smash and grab, but "only" 4-1 doesn't feel like a true reflection of the game. I think 8-1 was fair and I'm not joking either - it was probably the easiest Derby game we've played!

KdB, Grealish and Bernardo were all superb. Mahrez looked dangerous and I felt sorry for him - scored a world class goal and another good goal in a Derby and doesn't get MOTM! The truth is, KdB ran the show today. I really hope Bernardo changes his mind about wanting to leave as his attitude is world class. We were 3-1 up and he's chasing Wan Bissaka down like we're losing 0-1. The guy is top class.

When we play like we did in the 2nd half, no one can touch us.

Maguire should've been sent off today. He pulled Foden back and that should've been a penalty. The lunge on KdB was awful too. Watching him - and Fred - play, I just think how they'd look if they'd had made the decision to play for Pep. Absolutely no way do they look like "Pep players" when they play for the "managers" they pick. I can't see what Rangnick is trying to do either. I rate Maguire but Rangnick is just a poor manager and he's absolutely nailing Maguire. Even Southgate can get a good game from him! He must've been playing today and thinking "what if...". Serves the greedy f**ker right! I'd be tempted to offer them £10m for him as he's nowhere near as bad as he played today.

In the last 10 years they've spent £1bn and they need to rebuild their squad. Their Directors are amateurs and the manager is the second clown on trot who is plainly not capable of managing them. The last proper manager they had in - Mourinho - must be looking and laughing at how bad they've become. As I always say, the difference between how our club is run - top to bottom - to theirs is chalk and cheese. They won't be a force in football for 10 years at least, unless they get a grip of the top positions in the club.

Enjoy today though Blues! I still remember back to the days where I used to absolutely dread them as we'd normally get battered. I'm almost starting to look forward to them a bit now! :)

COME ON CITY!!!
