United (H) - Post Match Thread

If a single one of what passes for football journalists in this country wanted a simple and basic encapsulation of the difference between us and them, then all they would have to do is compare the performances today of Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva.
Two high profile Portuguese midfielders, on the face of it.
An arrogant, diving, cheating, lazy, arm-waving disgrace, a parody of a team player, who when he wasn’t bitching at the referee was castigating his teammates.
That was versus a humble, skillful, hard-working, perpetual motion, ball retaining blur of brilliance and amazingly fast little feet.
Reminder that the shrieking mole rat cost £20m more and is on £80k a week more btw
How fucking dare you,

I'm sure a Mole Rat contributes something and has a worth!

Thought we were fantastic today. Other than for a few minutes in the first half we were totally dominant. Great to see Grealish make the most of the opportunity to show what he can do in the highest of high profile games. Fantastic atmosphere as well.
I’ve just rewatched the first 45 after reading so many people say they played well and were in the game. Watching live with the nerves and concentration levels that go with a derby game I kinda went along with that narrative but on second viewing we twatted them for the majority of the first half with their only bursts of play tending to come from our own mistakes. They deserved fuck all regardless of what every pundit will have you believe.

Second 45 was a fucking masterclass!!

Did anyone else notice Fernandinho having a word to Cancelo telling him not to get involved when McTomboy started to lose his shit? Ferna was warming up on the sidelines and just told him not to showboat or something. Don't want those nasty tackles coming in to injure one of our players so that was a nice touch from the club captain.
