No we don’t rationale people can separate a govt action from the people of that country. The contributions done daily by the British people will not go unnoticed. Are we blaming the Russian people for Putin? Are the ukranians?

Most applying here have relatives in the U.K, I’m pretty they will know the score otherwise they wouldn’t want to come.

Anyhow the one table and a packet of crisps just shown on TV as our emergency asylum centre is straight out of a Monty Python sketch. Useless incompetent twats.

The government using the Skripal attack to justify not letting refugees in is one of the lowest and most disgusting things I’ve ever heard in the commons.

Quite apart from the fact that we haven’t blocked any Russians from entering the country and they could literally just fly in and do it again, it’s such a transparent and base attempt to whip up fear of immigrants as terrorists as was their MO with anyone fleeing from an Arabic country.

No surprise Priti Patel was not there to front up to her blatant lies in the house yesterday, her boy got absolutely eviscerated by Yvette Cooper - who is hardly a political heavyweight - and resorted to more lies he no doubt won’t have to face up to tomorrow.

Labour need to be more aggressive and break commons traditions when calling out these lies. Johnson’s government has made lying in the commons their go to tactic to dodge responsibility, knowing that calling them out is taboo - fuck tradition, call a lie a lie and stop letting them get off the hook by rotating ministers.

I find Yvette to be one of the more admirable presences in the house, 2bh.
 
Reminded of the Profumo affair.
Another example of the tories being a threat to national security.
Lies told to the commons, resignations and the downfall of a Tory government.
Even they had more humility and morals than this lot.

As a supposed leader of the West, we have done well in limited circumstances, absolutely shite in others.

Grow some and lead with fly zones, set-up a unilateral humanitarian system, and get a watch club that can report to the ICJ.

We don’t lead, we follow and let deaths happen.

So sad.
 
As a Great Britain and United Kingdom citizen, I will not accept what this government is forcing on us and will take personal responsibility for voting this government out.
