Doesn't really fit with the speech he's just made to the Commons, then again who knows, it must be tempting to do some sort of deal if only to save many lives of his citizens.

Reducing armed forces would leave them sitting ducks, he wont go for that and who would believe anything putin would say , he will just go back another time and have zolo taken out and kill loads more people

I’m just going off the report that we were banning oil from Russia but the ban doesn’t cover gas and assuming it’s because gas supplies are harder to divert.I don’t know any figures on how much Russian gas we take, but the report suggests we get some.
I think, on a european level thats why Putin was threatening European gas supplies if oil contracts were cancelled because he knows it’s harder to find alternative gas supply.

probably, given what's happened, wait for it to settle down and send agents to take out Zelensky and then attack again. Putin has underestimated his resolve.

Whatever happens I hope Zelensky watches his back forever. If they can do people in the UK they can do it anywhere they want. Putin is never to be trusted

I'm sure the UK could apply the EU's visa rule for fleeing Ukrainians, which is not to require a visa.

Here Patel is claiming "we're the first to develop a visa scheme" as if this was a good thing. Some will believe it, but I'll abide by the request not to insult any posters and just assume no-one on here is stupid enough to be taken in by that nonsense.

Yeah Sky alluded to that in their report. That he is keeping the pressure and rhetoric up but is torn due to the inevitable thousands of deaths that are coming.

I don’t think Zelenzky will live more than 5 years max. He’ll be lucky to make the end of this year
