Quiet clear to see that the proceeds of the sale won't go to Abramovich, sponsors only back out if the owner is not able to offer any assurances.

The sponsors will be unaware if they're legally allowed to pay a sanctioned entity.

It is surely a little inconvenient that the war in Yemen is supported by both the US and UK Governments.

But why let facts get in the way eh ?

UAE s too much strategic partner in region for US and UK, it means both of them is all complicit on whatever UAE doing.

At this rate the agents would be looking to get their players out of Chelsea. Hopefully there will be a quickfire double swoop for Chilwell and Reece James by Txiki.

Well at least they won't have to worry about selling Lumpkaku , they can't even give him away now . Also stops Haaland going to Chelski .

Of course it is and they're making millions selling weapons to facilitate it. This won't stop Harris, Jordon and the like throwing it out there though

I thought it needs to run out their contract first. They can't sell their player at all.

They'll be demanding that our owners are next...
That is not something that should be dismissed as a possibility down the line.

This action by the UK Govt is
an unnecessary and unwarranted escalation of this Cancel Russia campaign which is in full swing among western nations. I think two years of introducing toxic authoritarian policies on the basis of a viral threat, engendered by the use of propagandised hysteria, has displaced an ability to deal rationally and proportionately with a real crisis. Unless there is a fast return to a solid ground based proportionate response, to this crisis, and indeed future problems we are in trouble deep

In the week or so this was being mooted I'm sure Abramovich has squirreled as much of his money somewhere safe.
What U.K. assets do you think he was able to liquidate from the U.K. in the last week? Not Chelsea and not his properties.

The U.K. sanctions don’t touch his foreign assets and he has citizenship in Portugal and Israel.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer club.
And before people start saying aw it's snide and we shouldn't laugh, well yes we fuckin should.

Let's remember the racist shit deloony and nostrils Harris spout on a regular basis about us, let's remember fans of other clubs wanted us to go down the plughole with the UEFA lies.

Chelsea fans are a horrible set of cunts, a horrible set of racist wankers, all too gobby when they are doing well and now they'll be asking for forgiveness.

Fuck them, they knew abramovich was dodgy as hell yet they welcomed him with open arms. They can shove their inflatable cups up their arse.

I'll crack a beer open later and raise it to Chelsea for getting all they deserve.

More like the agents are currently exploring ways by which they can terminate contracts with Chelsea, should have worded it better.

The only way way they can terminated their contract is to pay the amount of the value of whatever their signed on their contract, more likely they will just run down their contract unless the situation will be very dire and the club can't pay the player wages anymore.

Abramovich is the owner of companies involved with supplying the Russian military so it’s odd to characterise this as unwarranted. It not like he’s just the conductor of the Berlin orchestra.
