Last Film You Saw

I've tried watching it a couple of times before, and was unimpressed. But I thought I'd try it one last time tonight. My final impression; Once upon a time in Hollywood really isn’t very good.

I watched Far From Men starring Viggo Mortensen.
2014 film.
If you like slow moving drama's about events that seem real then this is a good one. If you don't then don't bother. Viggo is a wonderful actor.

I really liked it.
8/10

Just watched Chariots of Fire again for the umpteenth time, moves me every time. Honour, athleticism, endeavour, principle, patriotism, all there in the finest film about sports ever made.

Probably my second favourite Tarantino film behind inglorious basterds

The music when they are running in slow mo gets me every time, I’m not religious but when he’s running at the end it’s very uplifting

Munich, The Edge Of War
2021
Very average movie.
The concept behind this movie is good in that Germans speak German, and English speak English. However, the movie just does not seem to deliver. The script lacks substance, and really just covers a lot of cliched material.

4/10
Think I scored a bit higher than that but I know what you mean.

A good film about the War on Netflix is The Forgotten Battle.

Yes it's up there for me, I loved the dynamic between Di Caprio and Pitt. Hilarious.
I love all Tarantino films probably equally. I know that might seem strange but I just love them all.

The Adam project. Netflix's new big budget film. Its a watchable yet instantly forgettable typical big money film. It will likely do very good numbers for netflix because its got the big names and the advertising. I suspect it will have a week or two in the spotlight then fade away never to be remembered.

Watched that last night, not much depth, just a future spaceship shoot-em-up/pull on the heartstrings bit of fluff for the family (5/10). Only 103 minutes though, always a bonus.
