He’s the equivalent of Steven Ireland in their set up, minus any of his skill.

The only reason he’s managed those numbers is he’s the player teams ignore. All he has is the ability to run in a straight line. There’s nothing else of note there for me.
 
Why is Danny Welbeck 2.0 aka Trashford being discussed as a potential option in the same thread as the perhaps best striker of his generation?
Not even good enough for a shit rag team who hasn't won a trophy in 6 years, horrible workrate & moans constantly when not being picked despite abysmal form since he apparently is stupid enough to believe his own hype from deluded United fans.
Seems like a few guys here have swallowed the rag PR machine saying he is one of the most exiting players in the world with just about nothing to back that up, since I dont count seasons where his numbers was hugely inflated by a abnormaly large number of undeserved pens. If all this still dont ring any warning bells, too top it off he is also a born and raised rag fan. Being fast and overrated on FIFA doesnt qualify you to play for the perhaps best team in the world.

If Martin Tyler didn’t creepily obsess over Rashford he’d have had the same career as Dan James.

The important thing to remember is that Sammer is playing to the Dortmund fan audience. He has to hype up the "ridiculous" sums of money City are supposedly offering Haaland in order to minimise the criticism the club get for not being able to hold on to him.

Exactly. And this has nothing to do with him playing for United. If he had the natural footballing ability of someone like Mason Greenwood then I would be all for it

exactly. I think we could all look at that idiot and see the obvious talent. Rashford never had it. Just a pr agent in Tyler.
