Koulibaly was our 1st CB target , Kounde was the 2nd & Ruben Dias was the 3rd.

Sometimes missing your 1st target is not a disastor.

Different situation and I don't beleive Dias was third choice. Dias simply wasn't seen as obtanable until Benefica unexpectedly crashed out of the UCL. Serendipitous for City who had a longstanding interest in the player and an unfilled vacancy.

What that does show is how things can change very quickly.

I was told three weeks ago by someone who's got a lot sources at Barcelona that they expected Haaland to sign for them- I laughed it off and told them no chance, but they just said "wait and see"- still waiting.

I ain't ITK, not claiming that the person who told me was either, just something through work.
