I think people need to relax a bit.

Transfers are very rarely announced during the season, especially big transfers like this where the player and clubs are involved in key games. I imagine whoever he signs for it won't be confirmed until the end of the season.

Our usually reliable sources seem to be confident City have a deal in place, the general noises are positive and Raiola is very quiet which gives me confidence it will happen. Things can change in a few months, so it's no guarantee, but there's no reason not be quietly confident at the moment.

The rest you hear around it is pure noise. Its like the latest that Barca want Mbappe. Its just noise and PR from Spain. Just filter it out as its likely rubbish.

Fuck all is dragging on. There will be no announcement whilst he’s still playing for Dortmund and whilst spending 12 hrs a day glued to Twitter reacting to every bullshit account might make it seem it’s dragging on, it really isn’t.
It’ll be confirmed when all parties are ready.

Hey, some think Chelsea should be done and sold already. Like a 2-3bn pound deals get wrapped up in 10 days all the time...

Like a transfer is a piece of entertainment put on for fans whilst the team aren't playing.

It only feels that way because of the utter bollocks announced hourly by people who have absolutely no idea what is going on. In a bygone era, when this speculation didn't exist, we just were excited when a transfer was completed.
 
I quite like it when stuff comes out about him rejecting our offers etc, makes me more optamistic that he is going to sign for us. CTID

Sorry, wasn't clear. I meant in terms of new articles being peddled out nearly a daily basis, when clearly any announcement, I assume will only be in the summer.

City can't have another kane type situation, so am hoping if they have indications that despite their best efforts, Haaland isn't convinced, a list of alternatives is already been worked on.

And tbf, it has worked out well for us in the past after missing out on our supposed targets!

Even when that transfer was someone like Ousmane Dabo on a free (“he’s played in the Champions League you know”) or Damascus Beasley on loan.. simpler times
