Will Smith slaps Chris Rock at the Oscars

Like most threads on Blue Moon it gets politicized.

His mrs sleeps around and likes to openly talk about it(hence twitter #cuck trending)...his marriage must be hanging by a thread. The reaction says more about his marriage than anything really.

His bumbling quivering nonesense speech afterwards points to an utterly broken man.
How many more fucking times, their marriage is open by consent

I'm not doubting what you're saying but I do think you would have be in a minority of at most 1% of adults in the UK that wouldn't have known that the Oscars were still a thing on Sunday morning.
Really? Thought these things were going the way of the Hit Parade, then again i do not consider myself to have my finger on the pulse of the younglings, big up to the Cellarite massive

I dont know what i have just said btw ;)

You compare apples and oranges. The point being if this happened 20 years ago at the oscars the guy would have been universally condemned and already banned from future events. Smith knew he would get away with it due to the way modern culture protects people in certain situations. Standards have changed.
20 years ago, Andy Milman, Ronnie Corbett & Darren Lamb got done and barred from all BAFTAs (except the Welsh BAFTAs ) for having a spliff in the shithouse
I agree, standards have dropped!!

No way surely. Jokes about the holocaust, disabilities, starving Africans? Nah, there has to be some limits.
Disagree with this. A comedian can make jokes about whatever they want [at their own show]. If you go to a Jimmy Carr comedy show and get upset by a rude or close to the bone joke then that’s on you for watching a comedian who is known for that kind of thing. The market will always dictate if they will be successful or not.

But this wasn’t a comedy show, it was an award ceremony for the film industry and as such, jokes about an illness that leads to very high suicide rates amongst females and their appearance are pretty shit.

Her consent obviously :-) the chances of both people wanting an open marriage is pretty slim. One of them initially says it and the other goes along with it to save the marriage more like

Because Will Smith and Jada Pinkett would probably struggle to find new partners.

Do you ever research the topics you contribute to ? He has been linked to other people for a long time , it is their decision and why the narrative is she is the person making him accept it is sexist

It does seem like Jada is in the driving seat, to be fair. And that's not inherently immoral or anything but it's not exactly uncommon in these partnerships for one side to be the driving force and the other one to go along with it in order to maintain whatever semblance of relationship they have.

An ex tried doing it with me once. I wasn't mad or ashamed or anything, I was just like "not for me ta" and fucked her off. If I was with her for years and had a family with her before that happened then things would have been more complicated, even if I like to think I'd still have binned her off pronto.

I get that but I'd be far more willing to buy into the sincerity of the apology if he didn't give an insane acceptance speech right after the incident with crocodile tears, trying to make himself out to be the victim and blaming the devil.

The only way he gets away with acting like such a prat is because certain people want to believe it because they've grown up watching him in stuff and thinking he's likeable.
I agree and in his apology yesterday he said...

"Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive,"

Well, If that was rattling around in his head, even slightly, he would have stayed in his seat.

It just goes to show that words are meaningless these days!

Yep, for some reason - people find it easier to label anything like this as either 'fake' or 'staged' then go all quiet when they realise it isn't.
Or maybe have a life and are not on here 24/7?

The slap is fake, it's a movie throw, as is the reaction. Rock leans in and then rolls with the slap. But hey, that's my take....it's just an opinion on a forum.
