The problem with that is "chat shit get banged" always existed in places devoid of class and good behavior. Places far removed from the prestige and class of an oscars ceremony. You wouldn't wear sweat pants to the savoy right?

Perhaps the actor was Jussie Smollet who is very good at faking violence?

Oh god, not another day of us bickering about "behaviour" and Hollywood being some magestical place of decorum. Hollywood Boulevard is as rough as Blackpool. It's always been full of drunks, drugs, abuse and fistfights, it just spilled onto the stage last night when it is normally kept backstage. 30 years ago no one was doing roasting style comedy at the Oscars. I'd like to see someone make a joke about James Stewart's wife or John Wayne's wife and see what happened.

My general point is that I just thought the pc gone mad/world has gone soft would come out in support of a good slap for someone being a dickhead, but it appears to be a touch more split this time.
