OK. If you just want to be called just a FC that's fine.;) It's the 'old' that is offensive and derogatory to all older people no matter what the brave boys in here say.

As I recall the term was coined by Alan Pardew in reference to Manuel Pellegrini and has been a light-hearted and affectionate reference to those of us elderly gentlefolk ever since. Personally, I don't mind at all in the context of BM although I would probably object if a stranger on the tram referred to me as an FOC.
