Yeah I know but its a wait and see isn't it? Can we go through all that shit again if the vaccines don't work against it? I doubt it for all sorts of reasons
 
feeling all back to normal, expect for the heart rating resting at 90 compared to 55 or the night sweats I had worse colds

once I stopped gym muscle aches stopped , my advice try be healthy as possible

Why the fuck would anybody trust you on any thread that mentions politics?
We know where you stand on this government and the useless **** in charge so doubt many will be taking anything you have to add with anything but the contempt it deserves.
 
My Mum went into Tameside Hospital a couple of weeks ago with water retention a side effect of her Heart condition, while she was in there she developed Pneumonia which she was given Antibiotics for and they seemed to be working, then we got a call to say she had caught Covid so was being moved to the Covid ward so we couldn't go and see her, she passed away last night at 11pm, so don't think this is over

Sorry for your loss.

Sadly it's only over for some people, it'll be around & affecting others in various ways forever.

By over for some people I meant the dicks in society who've never been bothered particularly anyway. The I'll do what I want mob.

Mentally for those who have recovered or have lost someone it'll always be with them.

They did what they wanted anyway and left it up to genetics.

People needed some time away from thinking about it, so hopefully we have 5-6 months off, before winter starts.

It’s all down to the random mutations that will happen between now and then as to whether we have to distance ourselves again.

It will most likely never be over but I suspect that we will treat it more like flu going forwards. Jabs for the elderly/vulnerable and if you get sick you stay off work/school. I don't think we'll see major lockdowns again unless a more lethal variant emerges.

Actually a fairly good weekend to report:



NORTHERN IRELAND 903 cases V 1204 last week & 6 deaths V 5 last week

480 Patients V 481 last week & 2 ventilated V 4 last week

Care Home Outbreaks 151 V 165 last week


SCOTLAND (over 3 day weekend) 17,182 cases V 25,495 last week & 38 deaths V 33 last week

2372 patients V 2360 last week & 23 ventilated V 21 last week



WALES 1485 cases V 2206 last week (Last Friday data only as usual both weeks) & 7 deaths V 27 last week

1062 patients (Fri) V 988 (last Mon) & 16 ventilated (Fri) V 14 last week
 
UK cases today over the three day weekend

143, 382 V 215,001 last Monday & 226,524 the week before (all over the 3 day weekend)

England only 122,027 V 183, 459 last Monday & 188,925 the week before (again all for 3 day weekend)

UK deaths 210 over 3 day weekend V 217 last weekend & 169 weekend before

Caveat is testing significantly down as you would expect with end of free testing

!.826 million last weekend V 1.465 million this weekend

This is a significant flatenning of admissions.

North West week to week on the three days:- 240 / 231 / 245 V 275 / 287 / 290

Which is a fall on every day


Total patients today:-

16,466 V 15, 170 last Monday - a rise of 1296 week to week. Last Mondays rise was 2417

So a significant drop in the patient increase.

Over the weekend North West had a rise of just 2 from 2387 Friday to 2389 today.

Biggest rise was in the Midlands - up from 2897 to 3135.

The South East and South West both fell across the weekend.



Good news on Ventilators too

They fell over the weekend from 311 to 306 V 319 last Monday.

North West fell from 39 to 33.

The highest is London on 100. Lowest South East on 29.

Plus two ... me and the missus just tested positive. Just shit cold symptoms fortunately.
