I think it will be very different on Sunday. This has been building for months.
It'll be noisy Sunday I can guarantee that.(well almost)I think it will be very different on Sunday. This has been building for months.
The loyal fans were there and so we’re done tourists / JCLs.Middle class fanbase waiting to be entertained. That’s the Champions’ League group stages and early knockout rounds. Eventually these half n half scalf-wearing foreign wankers get binned off by the ‘loyal’ City fans for the latter stages.
Alton Towers FC on some champions league nights, slightly better than the abuse we would take for empty seats though, I suppose. The loyal fans were there and so we’re done tourists / JCLs.
atmosphere was not great tonight but can't be too surprised considering the oppositions tactics. im looking forward to the away leg now. away days are always class
Piss poor atmosphere from our fans on what should have been a big night. Poor “leadership” from the singing areas, coming out with the daft clapalongs at pretty much every moment when the team needed lifting.
Exactly. The fans who were there were far better than plastics sitting at home moaning on the match thread and this one. YCNMIU.The loyal fans were there and so we’re done tourists / JCLs.
Sorry that’s bollocks, not digging anyone or the club out just saying my thoughts. If you couldn't make out the wording on the banner was Blue Moon, you need glasses.

Sometimes I do get frustrated with some people on here, because no matter what the club does, they get criticised for it. If the club didn't do anything, they'd get criticised for that as well. Let's be honest, the club can't win.
1894 have got 10 new double stick flags. If anyone can be arsed holding one up on Sunday (I won't hold my breath), whilst the regaular 1894 lads wave the large flags, feel free to help. 1894 will be stood on the concourse at the back of 115. Come over and have a chat. It's not hard and you'll only need to hold the double stick flags up for 5 minutes before the start of the game, and then bring them back to the back of 115.
Tomorrow will be a new day. And maybe we'll get a bit more positivity about what the club is trying to do to improve the atmoshere, along with proactive fans, which includes displays.
Good night.:-)
I'd say the quarter finals are "latter stages" and their were a lot of half 'n' half scarf wearing wankers there last night.Middle class fanbase waiting to be entertained. That’s the Champions’ League group stages and early knockout rounds. Eventually these half n half scalf-wearing foreign wankers get binned off by the ‘loyal’ City fans for the latter stages.
Better than empty seats, but how do one-offs get tickets? Is there a free membership scheme (ie not Citizens)?I was in block 233, it was full of day trippers (Madrid fans also). Whether we like it or not, that's what we'll continue to get. It's what successful teams attract.
