Our season was really derailed when drew a bunch of games we should have won during November and December.

Also there is no manager in the world as good as Pep and Klopp. Let's see how City and Liverpool perform when either of you no longer have the best 2 managers in the world. I doubt you'd challenge for the title every season and Liverpool will certainly fall away to be a normal top 4 team without Klopp.

Yep Klopp and pep two the best managers in the world Tuchel is no slouch. When pep Klopp leave but got the feeling Klopp be there a lot longer than pep at city we all go back into the pack. City have the advantage of a football system of playing throughout our set up from the age of 7/8 all the way upto the first team plus now we at the top table we can attract the best players.

Chelsea getting an American owner the build be slow you could drop out the top four Tuchel might leave. A lot of uncertainty at Chelsea.

Those two City games were an anomaly in terms how we approach games and I attribute that to City being able to be that dominant against us because we've played Liverpool 3 times and drawn all the games but we've arguably been the better team in 2 of those games, final included.

This is Tuchel's first full season. I'd had hoped we would challenge for the title but to expect it was too much of a step probably. We barely scraped into 4th last season. The hope was Lukaku would help bridge the gap. He's turned out to be one of the biggest flops on PL history.

Tuchel has had to deal with a lot to be honest, the Lukaku interview, the sanction and sale of the club and he handled it well. Seems to have a good relationship with the board.

Most of our dropped points, where we fell away in the race, came during a period where we were dealing a covid crisis and an injury crises at the same time. Once we got we the majory of the squad back fit again, we went on a 13 game winning run in al comps only punctured by the cup final loss on pens until yesterday.

Yeah the future is uncertain for sure. We won't be a billionaire's plaything anymore, so I guess we'll be run like a normal club with a normal budget, which means we'll have to rely heavily on Tuchel's ability and those who run the club to run it smartly and efficiently. The fact that the club are trying to get the bidders to commit to a £1B binding agreement to invest in the teams at all levels, including the women's, upgrade the stadium etc is encouraging.

For now though, having Pep and Klopp is an advantage no-one else in the league has and it tells. Tuchel is an unbelievable coach, probably top 5 in the world, but top 5 isn't number 1 and 2 in the world.

Sales are permitted for all women's team games but only some men's team matches. Chelsea can sell tickets for; away games with the revenue going to the hosting club, FA Cup games with revenue to The FA, and Champions League games with revenue to uefa. Only away fans can buy tickets to league games at Stamford Bridge however.

What is the point of this stupid restriction? How exactly is it imagined that this hurts Roman Abramovich financially and how on Earth does Putin feel any pressure from anybody as a result of this? It is total and absolute drivel that this is serving any purpose other than creating a nonsensical pretence of action. In any case: -
  • Are Chelsea's accounts frozen and beyond Abramovich's reach or aren't they? If the accounts are frozen then what's the issue with a few hundred thousand pounds of match receipts going in? If Roman can access the accounts then the sanctions are even more farcical and pointless than I already think they are.
  • If revenue from ticket sales for the permitted fixtures can be funnelled into other organisations then why can't the same be arranged for tickets sold to home fans for league games at Stamford Bridge?

Any truth in the stories the players have been told they won't be paid until the takeover is complete? A couple of your fans have mentioned it to me.
