Two blokes came to sit next to me on Sunday. We scored early and they didn’t move. Wall pushers scored they didn’t move and I thought it odd. Started talking to the bloke next to me and he says he is a Wolves fan and is mate was the ex Southampton and Cardiff manager. Looked at the guy and twigged it was Dave Jones. Both were just watching a game but both said we were streets ahead of anyone. Anyway the Wolves guy said he knew the lawyer involved in the PR 37 deal and we were 100% interested in signing him but tellingly Pep didn’t want him. My guess is we were approached and asked what the deal was, scum also approached and lawyers and agents let it be known that we are talking. Scum panic and the rest is history

Yes think that's right. His agent brought it up at a meeting about someone else the previous week, Ferguson got hold of it and made phone calls to Ronaldo then the United board effectively saying it would be the largest gathering of zebra pants ever seen if he signed for city, so for their own good to sign him A few snippets I heard. Not the zebra pants bit !

Very interesting.

There were reports in the media last summer that City was PR37's first choice.

I don’t mind admitting that I didn’t particularly want the fake twat here, but I did vote that I’d be happy for him to sign (there is a difference).

However, considering what has happened since, especially the aftermath of Saturday’s game at Goodison, I am absolutely delighted that Pep wanted nothing to do with the preening wanker.

That's bollocks - we would have to agree to let them use if first of all, and i'd be incredibly disappointed if we did.
They've got other options... FCUM's Pallet Park, the AJ Bell, Salford's Peninsula Stadium, Altrincham's Moss Lane etc. etc.
Or, to make it easier for their fans - Croke Park or plenty of London based grounds to chose from.

Really don't get why they keep starting fans groups when they are 7th and potentially gonna get a european place, it isn't like they are in oldhams position or derbys.

If it is a glazers out group then understandable that they are pissed off with the swamp falling to bits and the club heavilly in debt then fair fucks to them, but if it is because (and I suspect so) they are not top anymore well..
They have had 3 decent managers and at best 30 years where they were top dogs, they really need to get over themselves on this, the statement says return to their traditions, well their traditions are to be mid table.with the odd cup or title so...

Well, the season's not over yet - they could still be overtaken by Wolves and Leicester and finish 9th... which will make the huge rebuild they need a lot harder.
