That is what I am saying.
I don't think Jack has enough "big game experience" to start, away to Athletico. But, if we are winning with 15 minutes to go, Jack will be like a red rag to the Athletico bull.
Ole, Jack...
Grealish did start that big week of three consecutive away games earlier in the season: away at Chelsea, away at Paris, and away at Liverpool. He was probably our most ineffective player in each game.

He should be used exactly as he was last week for this.

He could get injured in training!
He'll play.
Listening to pep talk about kdb being the best in open games and not so good in tight spaces etc and the fact he has played so much football lately and is on a yellow I wouldn’t be at all surprised if kdb was on the bench resting for the weekend. Personally think will be bernardo, gundogan rodri

edit: well I was wrong! Great team

When Grealish was at Villa it seemed that their main tactic was for him to win free kicks. Wasn’t he the most fouled player in the PL? I don’t recall him getting any red cards. Doesn’t that suggest that he can discipline himself if he needs to? Rather than worrying too much about him being sent off, could he be a weapon for City, winning free kicks and provoking atletico players into picking up cards?
The lad got punched by a Birmingham fan on the pitch from behind, didn't respond, and scored a winner. The idea he has a discipline problem or can't take some bland shithousery everyone and their dog expects is laughable..

He'll play.

I think he’ll play too Mr Nan but it’s pretty damn whacky to compare his risk of suffering an injury playing with and against friends and colleagues in training, with his risk of suffering an injury playing against the well versed thugs in Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
If they can leave one on him then they’ll certainly do it and do it as early in the game as possible.

Grealish's seems very out of favour. Can’t say I’m disappointed he isn’t playing

With that line up expect Jesus, grealish, zinky, Dias, ake, fern, Sterling, steffan all to start against Liverpool

That's a great team to put out but leaves us a with a pretty knackered first 11 for Saturday.
At least we know the dippers won't rotate their standard team.

Who'll have the job of the playing through the middle and forgetting to get into the six yard box for every cross?

I kid, I kid.
