There is NO manager in the world that would leave KDB on the bench, unless KDB was injured or being rested or the manager was really really pissedKDB pulls other players out of position,we dont get the best out of them when he plays,so i agree with the thinking that we play better as an 11 with Gundogan alongside Rodri, and Bernie pulling the strings. We are more balanced and retain possession better, both hugely important factors against a tenacious team that plays on the break.
Agree and I think that Kev shows better form when he plays twice a week. There is NO manager in the world that would leave KDB on the bench, unless KDB was injured or being rested or the manager was really really pissed
I don’t get it, it’s only our fans (admittedly a small minority) who want us to drop the best player in the world. Maybe it’s because he takes risk and therefore the odd pass or the odd run doesn’t come off, but that’s the case with all world class creative players. I’d love to see Pep’s reaction if a reporter asked him if he thought Kevin De Bruyne was in his best 11, or notAgree and I think that Kev shows better form when he plays twice a week.
So he can be left out if being rested. Sorted, as we don't need KDB getting injured or suspended. There is NO manager in the world that would leave KDB on the bench, unless KDB was injured or being rested or the manager was really really pissed
Fuck me, with him a village is missing it’s biggest fucking idiot. Mind you I doubt even he’d advocate dropping KDBChris Sutton will be watching us "choke" again tonight!
;)
Not if the chances keep falling to Sterling.

Of course we don’t want him getting injured or suspended but no way he gets left out of such a big game. If we are 2 or 3 goals ahead with 20 mins left then he may well get a restSo he can be left out if being rested. Sorted, as we don't need KDB getting injured or suspended.
It's going to absolutely infuriating if they get a goal first. The playacting is going to make Porto look like a gentlemans club.Funny how different games can be. Sunday i was looking forward to big time and enjoyed the game. Tonight i really am not looking forward to. Just know i'm going to spend 90 minutes head in hands screaming at the ref and their players to get a grip. Juts hope we keep our heads, control the ball early on and score the first goal. Sounds easy, but we do that and i really think we go through.
Mine too. Funny, isn't it?Had to tell my boss about the urgent 2 hour doctors appointment that cropped up during this time. Strange how that always seems to happen during our midweek games
I’m not sure about Grealish starting tonight.
In the EFL Cup final a couple of years ago, Fernandinho and Walker spent the entire game shithousing him, and he spent most of his time punching and slapping the floor and moaning at the ref. And he did next to nothing with the ball as we affected his game too much.
I don’t think he’s been here long enough to trust that he won’t get wound up by Atléti and it affect his game tonight. Not from the start anyway.
I’d definitely bring him on though, similar to last week.
