Ukraine for now needs to brace itself for retaliatory strikes in its interior, but it still needs to keep on the offensive in the east and punch and drain the Russian build-up.

The threat of unpredictable consequences sounds like my mam when i was a nipper, with her threat of "Do it and see what happens".

Pro Russian Serbians marching in Belgrade. Reuters said lots of nationalists insisting Serbia stands with their Russian brothers and dismisses any talk of joining NATO or aligning with the West. Apparently NATO bombing targets inside Serbia to end the Balkan’s war didn’t go down too well.
 
following a couple of threads on bookface, you know, where all the intelligent comments are posted, I'm amazed by the level of support for Russia, particularly from (apparently) africans (This is not a racist comment, just a case of how it seems on the threads I'm following).

Boiling it down however it seems that 75% of the Russian support is based on the "fact" that NATO=USA and anything USA does is wrong
