Was there not a report that we don't actually want to pay the release clause as that means it's all paid up front?

If we bid after that then we would pay more but it can be structured. I'd imagine Dortmund want the cash upfront to finance their deals so that's probably a huge sticking point.
 
Must be close to breaking news since the media are now belatedly trying to spin a narrative of ‘last minute hold up’ due to man city needing to pay extortionate amounts in agent fees.....no wonder we couldn’t afford him say Real Madrid......etc etc.

Done a long while ago imo.
All talk of 'City scouts at Isak/Nunez/Felix' etc all been dead for a few weeks..
 
Somebody said it a few pages back. A move won’t be ‘blocked’ by an agent not getting enough commission. The agent works for the player. If the player wants that move then no way he can ‘block’ it because he feels underpaid for it.

Not only that, Mino’s reputation is literally built on getting his players what they want.
