By all accounts the training and equipment doesn't matter as long as there are more men/soldiers being brought up to the front lines. They believe it's a numbers game.

Ukraine has 'won' in terms of forcing Russia to confine it's objectives to the south and east of Ukraine, but forcing a total russian withdrawal is for the birds.
