Who’s gone in the summer?

In the league.

This season - 13 goals or assists
Last season - 18 goals or assists
Season before - 21 goals or assists

Fairly consistent stat wise. He is a player that once he is gone many will miss him. Appreciate what we have whilst we have it.
I’ll appreciate him more when his first touch stops going out for a throw in

Like every other player we have? Like Foden does a few times each game? Like Walker does? Like Jesus does?… Pretty sure every player has a bad touch now and again that takes the ball out of play. Playing at the level and speed they do it is always going to happen. I’ll appreciate the goals and assists that have led us to winning more silverware than I could have dreamed of as a kid, whilst you keep stressing about the odd ball going out of play.

People consistently point out he's suffered, like KDB, from us not having a striker and think now the club has gone and got a great striker for him to play off that he's going to be pushed out.

He's not going anywhere, he'll likely sign a new deal but if not he'll play out his last season and either sign on midway through or will leave the club as one of City's top 10 goalscorers of all time, the most prolific British player in European Cup history and our most decorated player ever.

And there'll still be cunts trying to pretend he's a sunday league player who was lucky to be here.

Rumours of him linked with a move to Milan if they complete their takeover.

As much as i think he might want to move, no one has the cash or inclination to pay up for him right now, think he might get a short extension of 3 years and look for a move aboard around 30 if he still fancies it.

Fern and Carson as their contracts are up

Who gets the third GK spot is going to be interesting tbh. I'm expecting Carson to sign for another year personally so Bazunu and Trafford can continue their development on loan but which one we bring back, if we do, could show who the club considers further along.

When was the last time we actually needed the 3rd choice keeper to start a game? I wouldn't be surprised if it's not happened out of necessity this century.

No point wasting a year of development for a kid who could be playing every week.

If Gabby is willing to stay Id keep him.....his work rate for the team and ability to play anywhere across the front 3 is a huge assett......he could even form a partnership with Haaland (if we get him) playign from one fo the wide positions....Gabby's work rate creates space for players and Haaland would love someone battling up front with him.....then 2 plus foden and the press and work rate would be phenominal......I also think sterling would flourish as well as he was always better when Aguero was around as the pressure wasnt on him so much and he was always had the freedom to be attacking the back post

I meant it the other way around - the one who comes back is the one that we think isn't going to be the long term second choice keeper.

Think the last time it happened to us was when we were forced to play Gunnar Nielsen in 2010. Then we loaned in Martin Fulop.

I think Fernandinho, Mendy (contract terminated), Jesus, sadly Bernardo. I think we may listen to offers for Laporte, Steffan & Sterling. But I personally don't expect Sterling to go unless he gets the right offer for him. I can see him sitting tight to move on a free.

Pep will not want wholesale changes as it takes time for new players to fit his system.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I wouldn't bring either back, I would just keep Carson for the foreseeable.

Is he going to be noticeably worse at 40 than he is now at 36? Chelsea registered Cech as their emergency GK in 2020 despite him literally being a coach and that's how we should do it.

If Carson is a good presence around the club, and helps the other keepers then just keep him going until he literally can't play. Chances are he never will.

We've stacked up on RBs but can't seem to find a LB for all the will in the world.

Pls Txiki. No funny business this time.
I've always liked Tyrick Mitchell. He's contributed to 2 clean sheets against us this season and his is definitely a star on the rise. Very quick, a good defender, never injured and only 22.
