Erling Haaland

All the bonuses, all the fees, everything is already discussed and approved ages back.

Even his insurance premiums were agreed in February.

This has always been a question of whether Erling would stick by his word and waiting for the dates to align.
When can he actually sign on the dotted line? Is it June 10th when the window opens?

Haaland will be banging in his first goal on his debut in sky blue and there will still be Madrid fans saying that nothing has yet been agreed.

Orstein is making it up as he goes along, the financials have never been the issue and agreed months ago.

It's now a rolling stone and people are jumping on it, including Keegan, when the only advancement is the timeline ticking down and genuine leaks out of legit Dortmund accounts.

Do City have any concern over his injury record this season, or do they put it down to the long running issues we see at Dortmund?

Don't know. I would like to assume due diligence has been done for it to have got this far.

Then there's the medical for anything more sinister.

He's got a better record than Kane on that front and we almost spent double on him!

He can in theory sign whenever he wants once Dortmund accept a fee or his pre-set release clause is met on the day it is active.

He can't register with any other club though, till the transfer window opens.

When the window opens, but that might not prevent an announcement from City to confirm, beforehand, as thing rumbles on at every presser.
Ok, the window opens on June 10th

So, playing devils advocate, he could actually change his mind right up to that date, no matter how many official statements are made.... or is there some kind of legally binding pre-contract he could sign?

I can only think of a handful of clubs who announce players well in advance of a transfer window opening.

Bayern do it a lot. I can't recall the last time city did. With his clause apparently running out after April this may force an official announcement prior to complete registration at a later date.
