I’m enjoying the fact that Johnson is admitting that the public have no trust in him with him promoting the ‘Local vote’, understanding he’s had the rest of the party, off.

As for the deplorable Rayner story, it wouldn’t surprise me to find that it’s a Junior Tory member who is being thrown to the wolves, after a Cabinet member told them to get it out in the public, not understanding the public mood.

Win-Win for the Cabinet. Johnson gets to congratulate/reprimand a ghost, either way.

The latest wizard wheeze is from Shapps - make MOT tests a bi-annual event.............fucking moron. Its one of these cost free ways to reduce the strain on family budgets.......................unless of course you don't have a car. Even t6hen its only £50 max.

Then consider what the MOT is there to do - highlight and get you to fix possible safety issues. Great idea - NOT. More dangerous cars travelling our streets and also you are going to find that cars involved in an accident are going to have the motor engineer paying particular attention to brakes and tyres. If its been 22 months since your last MOT and the car failed to stop in time they are likely to reject your claim on the grounds you have failed to maintain your vehicle.
