Kids go to underfunded delapidated schools with empty stomachs while our rulers do this.
Are they extraordinarily arrogant and complacent, or is it simple stupidity.
I think it’s a dangerous combination of both.

Yes - all of the above - they don't care but the forelock tuggers keep on tugging forelocks - interestingly a voxpop on the local news earlier from Hartlepool saw Johnson get a bit of a coating from voters - the local Conservative councillor claimed that an area had been cleared and a new leisure centre was being built which you only get with a Tory Council and a Johnson as PM...............the plans and concept for the new LC go back to 2018 - prior to Johnson assuming office - Labour controlled the council there until the end of 2019 - as a Party lying just comes naturally to them

Same around here. Plans for Eastern Lincoln bypass went through 10 years ago: just been completed recently trumpeted as 'levelling up'.
