Ultimately, the jury's still out on Grealish. Those writing him off already are simply displaying their ignorance. As Doris rightly states above, a number of players in recent years took time to bed in before becoming superstars for us (I'd add Toure and Silva to that list). Yes, you can argue that, as someone used to the rigours of the EPL, Grealish should have hit the ground running but, equally, we currently have a surfeit of players with a similar skillset all of whom are competing for the same role. Arguably, it may be time to move on Mahrez and/or Sterling at which point Grealish will, hopefully, be able to flourish in the role of creator a la David Silva. I may be proved completely wrong in the fullness of time. However, let's not join the dissenters in the gutter press by consigning one of our own to the bin before he's had the opportunity to prove himself.
