It's not only Parish, apparently.
I don’t get it. I’ve been looking at tractor websites for the last two hours, for research purposes, and haven’t seen so much as a nipple.
Ah well, off to Google tractor porn
I wonder if his wife will inform him of her decision to leave him with a John Deere letter.
Perhaps he was imagining ploughing a few furrows!‘A moment of madness…deeply hurtful to my family…distracting from the important business of government…not indicative of who I really am…’

All? Why label them as all the same when the reality is that there are many who do a superb job for their constituency. So, now we have an insight as to what all these MPs are doing on their phones whilst sat in the HoC.
They are there to represent us, not look at fucking tractors etc.
Disgraceful behaviour again from politician's. They all need a kick up the arse, and all phones banned in there permanently.
British political behaviour is a joke.
why do they just drag it out to its inevitable sordid end?

Neil Parish MP: I'm resigning after porn moment of madness
Neil Parish admits watching pornography in the House of Commons and tells the BBC he was stupid.www.bbc.co.uk
Have you seen how many are heads down tapping away on their phones. All? Why label them as all the same when the reality is that there are many who do a superb job for their constituency.
The truth is that there are some MPs who are laws unto theirselves, the majority being in the Cabinet.
BrilliantI wonder if his wife will inform him of her decision to leave him with a John Deere letter.
Again, why is it ’all’? Some have said that they will keep an eye on their phone as there may be some important stuff come through but that seems the minority.Have you seen how many are heads down tapping away on their phones.
For the small period of time they are discussing in an open forum in the HoC, they should be able to cope without their phones. If they cannot, do not sit in the house.
Ok, not all but far too many imo. They are in a top level business meeting where tapping away on your phone is seen to be normal behaviour.Again, why is it ’all’? Some have said that they will keep an eye on their phone as there may be some important stuff come through but that seems the minority.
Labelling them as ‘all the same’ is disingenuous when the reality is that an individual decided to do something that is totally unacceptable to the majority and his bosses, once again, didn’t have the backbone to deal with it until public opinion decided.
His actions smack of what this government is all about and probably a result of their ’no culpability’ attitude.
It’s important that MPs have their phones in the House. After all, it’s important that they can access information and be contacted directly by people outside, all of which should lead to better informed debate.
