One of Madrids best sources replying about Haaland to city
All this “soon” foreplay is getting tiring. Drop the bomb City.

Not sure it matters, personally I don’t think it will be done done and announced until after the german season finishes. But I expect the the players already know its as good as done already.I would imagine that City would want to keep this news quiet until our season ends. It could place unnecessary pressure on the other forwards and become a distraction.
But if it's being finalised soon (for instance due to a release clause deadline) then I do wonder how it's going to be leaked out.
I wouldn't put it past Dortmund to make a poorly timed statement just to screw us over.
Agreed fully mate. Mind you, I still don’t think it will stop an attempted leak by some red journos a couple of days before the final, if we make it to Paris …Let’s have it right, the players will know what is happening with pep and haaland before any of the press or us know, I don't think it will have any effect on the team or the club whatsoever.
I'm sure Phil has messaged haaland already and knows what's happening.
I don't think Dortmund would do anything we asked them not to...football is big business and burning bridges unnecessarily is not a good business practice..I would imagine that City would want to keep this news quiet until our season ends. Especially if we’re going to be talking to them in 12 months about a 17 year old midfielder.I don't think Dortmund would do anything we asked them not to...football is big business and burning bridges unnecessarily is not a good business practice..
I suppose the next stage will be immediatelySo in other words this is super imminently imminent :)
Nah, the player will start to think about preparing to pack.I suppose the next stage will be immediately
Ah, the Koulibaly level.Nah, the player will start to think about preparing to pack.
Why would they want to screw us over? They see us as a good source of youth players and would see the benefit of a good working relationship. At least it makes sense for them to see it that way.I would imagine that City would want to keep this news quiet until our season ends. It could place unnecessary pressure on the other forwards and become a distraction.
