Exactly, when was the last time we announced a signing outside of a transfer window? That isn't that imminent though?

Let's get posting more, be here sooner :)I predict there will be 4,000 posts on here before we know for certain the Viking god is ours. So folks keep an eye on the 4,000 posts marker for the official announcement.
They weren't super star signings, they were close, but pushed on to be superstar, world class players while they were here, Haaland already is.
They should have that rise up through the centre circle with Haaland sitting on the bench wearing next seasons kit.I expect the signing of Haaland to be announced on the OS, Haaland wearing a City shirt, and playing Blue Moon on a mighty Wurlitzer Organ.

Now that you mention it that is definitely what I expect should he signIf city don’t announce him with a picture of before and after of his younger self sat on a sofa with a city shirt on then our media team have failed!

The famous wanking photo? If city don’t announce him with a picture of before and after of his younger self sat on a sofa with a city shirt on then our media team have failed!
Wow, And I thought he was a parasite. Makes you think there are always two sides to every story
As soon as a release clause for Haaland will be paidThe release clause is likely active until the end of the German FA summer window. I can’t see City activating it until our season is over. Norway has Nations League matches the first couple weeks in June (first match is June 1st). If I had to make an educated guess, it’ll be announced sometime after Norways last match (June 12th) but before July 1 so he can be quickly registered then when the international window opens. Pep is playing a golf tournament in the US June 30th/July 1st. Haaland will probably do his City photos, interview, etc before Pep leaves for his golf trip. June 13th - June 27th is my prediction for the EH announcement/unveiling.
If we don’t make the CL final (knock on wood) maybe it’ll get done between May 23rd - 27th.
Surely we’re very close to this point now. Days, even.As soon as a release clause for Haaland will be paid
OR the 2 clubs involved have agreed about his transfer in principle,
Dortmund is obliged to IMMEDIATELY inform the financial market via an adhoc statement about inside information
(according to Article 17, Market Abuse Regulation in the EU).
We'll probably hear the news from Dortmund first.
The buying club (if you like City) could determine that timing by the moment of hitting the release clause OR an agreement with BvB.
To give you all an idea what it might look like, here are 3 adhocs when Sancho (2021), Pulisic (2019) and Aubameyang (2018)
left Dortmund:

Agreed and thanks for links. City know BVB have to announce so they’ll hold off on paying the clause until they’re ready. Announcement of transfer (from BVB) and unveiling (from City) will likely happened separately but I think it’ll be within a few days of each other. Sancho was announced July 1 but the transfer wasnt completed until July 23rd. That was mostly due to him being at the Euros. City could do all the unveiling stuff, get it queued up, and then wire the money so the announcement and unveiling are simultaneous. :)As soon as a release clause for Haaland will be paid
