It annoyed me when I could hear the City fans ole-ing with 5-10 minutes to go.
The subs he did bring on though should have been capable of managing the game, they are all quality players. Grealish did well when he came on. We managed the Atletico game, held the ball, concentrate, fell over a few times, we were clever. Tonight we weren't.yep agreed but peps subs were poor… he didn’t bring grealish on for atletico away so why tonight??!
Feck me...10th of June!We go again, Turkey here we comeView attachment 42212
barelyWe did against atletico Madrid
I hope we won't have to change the players name.At least we won't have to change the Istanbul song another fucking time.
And all this tearing the hair out, half of our fanbase can get our barnets sorted out there while we are at it.
course it’s peps fault.. who’s fault was it last year mate??
No, I don't think Raz was in anyway to blame tonight - but I just don't think hes good enough full stop.
I hope we won't have to change the players name.
Wigan say hello. We've lost to teams we had no business losing to over the years while playing football befitting of European Champions. It's genuinely astounding.
course it was mate we were comfortable then makes stupid subs, which he doesn’t make in league when we need subs he doesn’t make them then tonight we were fine but starts fucking about!!!!Nobody is happy clapping. That was NOT Pep's fault.
You think we get so exposed at the back if Walker stays on the field?
If it helps it annoyed the Real fans too, and we had to have it back at us for the 30 minutes while they were leaving and we were locked in.It annoyed me when I could hear the City fans ole-ing with 5-10 minutes to go.
Agreed. Shell shocked is the expression.Pep has dropped some fucking clangers but not tonight mate. We played the perfect game, we've just been on the end of one of those classic sucker punch knockout ties. It's so hard to comprehend.
Think we all need to sleep on it and give it a few days to settle.
Only Walker has any pace and they are all susceptible to dropping howlers.Yes it's an odd one. Dias for me has been dodgy for a while, Stones has definitely been the best centre back this year, Ake has done well and I would use him more. Cancelo of late has gone to pot too. Walker has been missed greatly but Zinchenko has done well despite the turmoil going on in his home country.
We've had Lyon and Spurs in quarter finals and that hasn't exactly worked out well for us.We've had plenty of easy draws and ref decisions during Pep's era, just luck of the draw at times quite literally.
Funny thing about this is that we would probably win it with our weakest squad down the road, it's that way for some teams. Kind of like Di Matteo
and Tuchel's Chelsea.
Hindsight..in the moment up v Real madrid...with your mates ..few ales and city ..dream for a piss about...but one eye on your goal admittedlyIt annoyed me when I could hear the City fans ole-ing with 5-10 minutes to go.
