Morbidly Obese (and proud to be)

If I worked with a drug addict then yes, I’d be hurt to see them. I’m sure that any respectable employer would try and get them some help to quit. Obesity is somewhat taboo; best to say nothing and let them crack on with it. Just doesn’t seem quite right.

There’s a woman I work with who must be approaching 25 stone. She can’t walk anywhere without sweating and wheezing. Yet her desk drawer is always full of chocolate bars and she drinks at least 3 cans of full fat Coke a day at work. It really annoys me. I don’t say anything to her and just let her get on with it. She is probably waiting to have a heart attack before making some lifestyle changes. Even then it might be too late. Why do these people seemingly not give a fuck about being this way? Just knock the pop and chocolate on the head and drop about ten stone easily. It’s baffling.
Annoys me too, obesity is becoming a kind of Pandemic.
I mean if I ate everything I'd like to.. I could be huge as well, I love chocolate, cream cakes, pies etc etc. But I resist and eat healthy shit like salads and plenty of veggies.
I do my 10,000 steps a day, which I love doing so thats easy, never been to a gym.
I'm also a right boring ****.

I guess it depends on how motivated you are to make it to old age etc.

Being healthy increases your life expectancy, dependent on your genes etc.

The heavier you are takes years off your life in all probability.

Maybe some people are happy with 60* years on earth.

*Arbitrary figure.

Because you aren't allowed to hold people to account, make them feel bad or demand they take responsibility for the burden they place on society through their actions.

It's not her fault, on some such technicality social media or HR would invent if you called her out on it.

She should have 1% added to her tax and NI for every % of body fat she is over 15%. If, she demonstrates a plateau of a figure under 20% that she sticks to then she can have a tax exemption above 15% provided her weight is in line with height.

There's little to no excuse these days and it's a burden in normal circumstances and it's a bigger burden in pandemic times when the overweight and diabetics are those more susceptible.

But the food conglomerates will lie to you and give government backhanders to give the feel good story so they make more profit out of the susceptible population.

Lol

I hope that you get taxed extra for your failings too.

What the fuck had happened to society?
