Looking at this thread I would say job well done for the Daily Mail.
Yep, we’re now known as cheats despite our name being cleared in an independent court.
Chelsea being taken over is going to make the stories even more relentless. I bet that scrawny neck **** Henry and the Glazers have already had meetings with him.It will never stop.
Too much money at stake for the clubs we have disposed from their comfy cash cow competitions and free runs at players they where guaranteed to get.

Tweets from VulturesRunning it till now Bird and Bird solicitors appointed by premier league. They just happen to be the firm that advised Liverpool on the round robin letter. Funny coincidence!
They were very selective in reporting this. He then went on to say "...but I believe them 100%." That puts a completely different spin on it.Depends what context this statement was made. Anyone would leave a company on principle if the company had lied to them and they considered it a betrayal of trust. Not read the story but they could ask the same question of all other profession football managers and get the same answer.
I know sparrows go tweet but not sure about vulturesTweets from Vultures
The unanswered questions are why USA investors are:
1 so keen to buy English Football Clubs?
2 what is in for them and their plans?
3 why are they not subject to the same degree of scrutiny as those investing from other countries?
American sports are run on a different basis to other parts of the world as they prefer a closed shop, franchise, protectionist model. We know the answers but on what basis was the Burnley take-over allowed? No questions asked yet City being investigated by the PL for who knows what on what basis?
The obvious answer would be that the media and PL are being influenced. FIFA and UEFA officials have been convicted of payola style bribes so why would not the richest league in the world not be subjects to the same esxposure?
As in the payments which pre date any sort of ffp?I don’t think we have to worry about any of the above. It looks like it’s the Mancini pay off they’ve been going on about for years is what they’re pinning their hopes on
A cash cow is when you take more out and put less in.What's the difference between a cash cow and an investment opportunity, ultimately?
Yup ... salary caps and other Yank influences will grow and grow.Yep, the American influence grows ever stronger and their business model, the complete opposite of what our is means the attacks will continue as they are desperate for us to go away.
An English word that was invented to distinguish football from Rugby Football.Yup ... salary caps and other Yank influences will grow and grow.
The shite they have there, the ott bolleux and 'drafts' etc will become part of our 'soccer"...
Wasn't there something to do with licensing and UEFA competitions. Ie we have to provide accurate financial information to the EPL who then submit us for a champs league place or something? What also just occurred to me is what exactly the PL are looking at? Their financial rules are very different to UEFA's FFP rules and merely concern looking at losses, which are allowed to total £105m over 3 years. I think these rules only came into force in the 2015/16 season. The only thing I can think of that they're looking at is whether we would have broken their rules (not UEFA's) if sponsorship was artificially inflated. We know it wasn't so I struggle to see how they'll come up with any charges unless they have a smoking gun that UEFA/CAS didn't have.
It is normally a mature product or business with high market share but little or no growth.A cash cow is when you take more out and put less in.
Completely correct, that's what a cash cow is in business terms. I expect that the fan you responded to was thinking of what the Glazers hve done to Man Utd.It is normally a mature product or business with high market share but little or no growth.
